We tested our prototype TDCi Stage 5 Air Intake Kit last week, conducting a trial fit and drive appraisal using James Evans vehicle (Thanks James). There are 2 minor differences between the standard Stage 4 and 5 kits - the silcone hose and the DPF sensor bracket - both fitted well. James took it out for a lengthly drive and provided me with the following report;

Firstly I am extremely impressed with the quality of the product. It not only aesthetically sets the engine bay of it’s also a very robust product and extremely well designed for this model of car.

I can 110% say that it has improved the performance of the car in the following areas: Reduced turbo lag/Improved turbo spool up time. Supports the DPF removal greatly with throttle response. I have no doubt that it has increased the BHP of the car and I will prove this by a follow up with a dyno test. It also adds a mean low end growl to the car and you can really hear the turbo spool up with a well pronounced whistle from the turbo. 

I would like to thank you for your help with one of the many different modifications on the car so far and I will be sure to show the product of in future shows/meetings.
