We met up with Luke from Performance Magazine last month at AMD in Essex where we tested our Focus RS Mk2 Air Intake Kit on Neil Springate's Focus RS. Good results were seen when testing our kit verses standard +10BHP The kit included the the Performance Air Cleaner Cover, Air Filter and hoses.

Fast Ford magaxine has printed a whole page dedicated to our Focus RS Mk2 Air Intake Kit. With pictures, test results and owners comments, this ia a good editorial with a positive verdit for the Kit which offers +7BHP and + 35lb/ft, which includes the Performance Air Cleaner Cover, Air Filter and hoses.

The September issue of Fast Ford Magazine has an article about TGST and their fantastic demo Fiesta Mk7 car, which includes the Mountune MR155 exhaust kit and our very own j1 Fiesta Mk7 Performance Air Intake Kit. They have chosen our j1 kit over the Mountune Airbox stating that it works well increasing power from 155 to 160BHP.

Kabir Ahmed's j1 Performance Air Intake Features in Performance Ford Magazine / August 2011

The August issue of Performance Ford Magazine (Issue Number 212), prints an article titled '7-UP' which features Kabir Ahmed's fantastic modified Mark 7 Fiesta, which happens to include our very own j1 Fiesta Mk7 Performance Air Intake Kit. Of course Performance Ford Magazine ran a feature on this kit not long ago in an earlier issue, stating 'great results on their own project car'.

AMD Power Run on Mountune Fiesta Mk 7 MP140/ January 2011

We met up with 'Performance Ford' Magazine at AMD in Essex, where we undertook a power run on their dyno to determine what (if any) power gains could be had, by replaceing the Mountune Air Intake on a Fiesta Mk7, with our j1 Fiesta Mk7 Performance Air Intake Kit. Following the first run with the standard Mountune set up we were pleased to see a maximum power rating of 140.5 Hp (Just as you would expect). Replacing the intake with our j1 set up, we immediately saw the power increase to 143.8 hp, but since the j1 kit was designed to use the bonnet as an integral part of the intake system, we re-ran the test with the bonnet closed and saw 146.2 hp. Listed within the 'New Products' Section of the magazine, our 'Fiesta Mk7 Air Intake Kit' has been listed with the caption; Filtration Specialist, j1 Automotive, has announced the launch of a brand new range of performance air filters for the Mk7 Fiesta modles... ...Both kits have been designed as direct replacements and give noticeable gains over standard. In testing j1 automotive claims it has seen an average increase of 6.1% across the whole rev range on the 1.25-litre and 1.4-litre engines. (Also available for the 1.6-litre).
