Whether it's a complete new air intake system or an intake performance upgrade, ‘j1 automotive’ can work with you and your team to establish ideas for updates to, or replacement ‘Air Intake Systems’.
Replacing the intake system and or filter, is by far the most common and easiest way to add a few more BHP to any vehicle. This is a huge industry dominated by a few companies who are expanding their brand awareness through sales at vehicle performance and car tuning companies. Therefore why not provide your own bespoke system, designed and branded specifically for you, providing performance enhancements, something unique, and a way to help promote your own brand.
Design and Development
Although we currently use CATIA V5 for our detailed design, CAD systems and CAD data output can, and would be adapted to suit all our customer needs.
Concept and development systems can be evaluated in house using our own Air Flow testing facility, where restriction, filter efficiency and dust holding capacity tests can be undertaken to ISO 5011 engineering standard, a standard that ensures engine protection capability of the filter.
Manufacturing and Supply
Through the sourcing of high quality components, ‘j1 automotive’ can undertake the piece part procurement, quality assurance and assembly of low volume intake assemblies and sub assemblies. An excellent understanding of injection moulding and the use of highly experienced tooling manufacturers, means that complex low volume tools can be sourced and managed.
Custom Filters
Not only can we provide high performance filters that rival our competitors in terms of restriction and efficiency, but due to the low production volumes we handle, we can also offer the additional service of designing and custom manufacture of your own filters to suit your exact needs.
Media colours and PU seals can be matched to meet your corporate colours, end caps or the PU seals can be designed to meet your existing components. Either way, we can provide you with something totally unique.
